I use this item so much, that I almost don’t even classify it as makeup. It’s an essential. For that reason I thought it fully deserves a mini review 🙂
When I first purchased this I was torn between a traditional brow pencil or a pomade. I had never used a pomade before and to be quite honest with you it, it’s slightly more work and slightly more expensive. That being said, it promises very natural results. I purchased the Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade in dark brown and the ABH 7B brush duo ( this retails for £18). Although my ABH selection was not cheap, it is a staple that I use every day so well worth the investment.
I love that this brush is dual ended. It has a slanted edge for application and a brush to help you comb those strays in place. I by no means have the perfect brows ( I actually have a chunk missing at the front of my left eyebrow from a threading trip gone wrong), but I have found this product fairly simple to use. I’m trying to think of a negative and admittedly am struggling a little. It is fairly pricey. £19 to be precise. However it does last forever as you only need a tiny amount of product each time. It can also dry out if left open ( this is easily counteracted by adding a drop of your facial oil to it).
Pros– comes in 11 colors, very pigmented, lasts forever, easy to use.
Cons– you will need to purchase a brush, it is on the expensive side and can dry out (especially if left open).
Worth the hype? Absolutely! I cannot live without this. It’s literally a game changer and I doubt I will ever use another brow product again.
