Huda Beauty Birthday Buys

2018 was the year of the big 30! Nothing like birthday celebration to treat yourself to the latest in the world of beauty. Huda is making waves right now and for good reason. I purchased the Easy Bake Loose Powder in the shade Banana Bread and the Demi Matte Cream Lipstick in the shade SheEO.

Firstly, I love that Huda has released the powders in a range of shades to suit your undertone. I’m personally quite yellow and have dark circles so I went for a brightening yellow tone. This stuff is not cheap! It’s £28, but you get a lot of product. The powder itself is fine and sets like nothing I’ve ever used before. Is it just me that finds loose powders messy? It does however come with a built-in sieve. Stick this on for five to ten minutes and then brush away and it literally lights up your face.

Matte lips are getting a bit boring and last season so I thought I’d give the demi matte finish a whirl. When you apply this liquid lipstick it has the strangest cooling sensation. Almost like it’s magically starting to work. But what I love is that it does not flake. SheEO a beautiful nude pink tone. It is so so comfortable and wears extremely well.
