Top 5 Nude Lipsticks

I don’t think there’s any makeup lover in the world who doesn’t love a good lipstick  .Theres so many different colours and finishes that you can’t really go wrong. I go through phases of what shades I’m loving but right now I tend to gravitate towards a brown nude in a matte finish. If you too love a brown nude, here are my top 5 ( in no particular order).

1- Mac-Velvet Teddy

I think it was Kylie Jenner who made this every nude lip lovers go to. It’s a beautiful matte brown mauve based nude. It does veer on the lighter side of the spectrum, making it staple for many skin tones.

2- Jouer lip creme -Rayanne

I think this was actually a limited edition shade that I received as a gift . This has to be one of the most comfortable liquid lipsticks I own. It’s such an unusual shade More of a grey under toned nude, which makes it pretty unique.

3-Urban Decay-1993

I bought this after it was recommended by Kaushal beauty and I have not regretted it! It’s a darker brown ( I think I’m being generous in calling it nude ) but I love it so much for a more  of a statement lip look.

4 Huda Beauty-Trend setter

I actually  purchased  the Huda Beauty mini brown collection  and was a little disappointed. I found two of the shades were so dark and I personally could not pull them off. But I fell in love with the shade Trendsetter. The amount I’ve  worn this one shade has almost made owning the entire collection worthwhile. I also have Flirt and is it just me or is there very little difference between the two ?!

5-Sephora liquid lipstick-Shade 23

My only complaint with this liquid lipstick is that it’s not available in the UK. I would describe it as a brown with a mauve undertone. Sephora liquid lipsticks are so comfortable and long wearing.

Please let me know if you have any undiscovered brown nude treasures. I love any excuse to add to my collection 🙂
